  2020年9月末、生体認証の新規登録を中止し、以降発行されるカード（「北都ブライトワン」の有効期限差し替えカードを含む）は生体認証非対応のカードとなる。更新手数料が徴収されるものであったが、2012年3月21日以降、順次窓口での即時発行開始に伴って、カードの様式が変更され、エンボスレスで有効期限のないカードの発行を開始。 2016年に開設されたあおぎんネット支店では標準発行されるが、再発行手数料が一般店舗の倍額の2160円徴収される。 びわこ銀行時代に店舗統合を行った店舗で廃止店のままのカードを使用していた場合、関西みらい銀行発足後のシステム統合時に使用不可とされたため、強制切換の対象とされた。
